The Beckham Cap: I Dare or I Flee?

Back in force last year, the cap, in the same way as the sunglasses, has become a fashion accessory in its own right and is part of the trends of the summer. Especially since David Beckham flaunts it on the streets of London or Paris.

I dare
Like the footballer, you can choose a cap to bring a touch of fashion to his outfit. Ideal to protect yourself from the sun or the rain or even to conceal a balding baldness, the cap is also perfect to go unnoticed even if that is not always enough when one is called Beckham! Popular with athletes, the cap accompanies them on the field to protect their eyes from the sun and perspiration and even often outside, like the basketball players who make it their favorite fashion accessory.

I flee
Often equated with the look of "scum", the cap sometimes suffers from a controversial image. For example, do not wear it to work unless you call yourself LeBron James or Joakim Noah. The association cap + jogging remains a real risk-taking mode of fashion especially if one opts for the cap in reverse!

Our verdict
The cap may be an ally of choice in some circumstances, but be careful to choose which model is best. To associate with a dress, prefer the paperboy hat, urbaner. And for sportswear fans, it is the baseball caps that will win the most votes. Finally we cannot recommend too much to leave in the closet advertising caps like the red and white, graciously offered by a famous brand of sausage during the Tour de France, and which will be much better in the bottom of your closet (if you can not get really not to separate from you) than on your head. To summarize: play like Beckham, style, and class in all circumstances.
